Legal research platform that checks every citation

Ask a legal question or paste your draft. CaseCode answers with case law and statutes and flags any citation it cannot find in the source.

CaseCode check --brief draft.txt

The same check as a request

Send text, get every citation back with a status. The workspace and the API run the same verification.

One subscription per firm instead of per-seat research seats, so the cost is known before headcount changes. Verification is built into the workflow, which lowers sanctions risk from citations nobody opened.

Questions attorneys ask

Will CaseCode invent cases?

Every citation in an answer is matched to the source text. Anything that is not found is flagged and is never presented as verified.

Is this legal advice?

No. CaseCode is a research tool for attorneys and legal professionals. It is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Verify authority before filing.

What does CaseCode cover?

Published US case law, the complete U.S. Code and the Code of Federal Regulations. State statute coverage is growing. Unpublished opinions, treatises and dockets are outside coverage.

Does it tell me if a case is still good law?

It shows later opinions that cite the case. It is not a citator, so it does not assign formal treatment flags.

Is my client data used to train models?

No. Matters stay private to your workspace.

Can my whole firm use it?

Practice covers up to 5 users and Firm up to 15. Enterprise covers more. SSO is available on Firm and up.

Can I pay by invoice?

Yes, on Firm and Enterprise.
